In this Solution Article, we will show you how the Vetting process works, when a Student Number is generated.
STUDENT STATUSES EXPLAINED
- New - This is an auto generated status after a student has been created.
- Vetting - Examination of student documents, before a decision is made.
- Application Rejected - If a student application has been rejected.
- Enrolled - When the student has been enrolled.
- Cancelled - If a student cancels their application or the capturer finds a valid reason to cancel a students application.
- Studies Complete - After a student completes/ graduates the course.
- Administrators and Head office Supervisors can see the "Submit" and "Approve Student" buttons.
- Before you can start processing a Student, you need to press the "Submit" button to start Vetting.
- The Student needs an Enrollment (course) before you can click the "Submit" button.
- The "Submit" button will remain disabled until an enrollment is added to the student.
- When the following Statuses have been completed, you will need to click on the "Approve Student" button.
- Before a student can be Approved he has to meet some Requirements.
- Requirements for approving a student:
- The student needs a Signed Full Student Pack,
- and also Verified Proof of ID.
- The student has to be between ages 17 and 28.
- The latest student Sub Type should Not be Vetting Completed.
- The student also needs to be Enrolled in a course like the "Submit" button.
- After these requirements are met you can click on "Approve Student"
- Documents that need further approval moving forward:
- When a document is Verified, it will automatically be ticked. Same with the Student Payment.
- Once the student has been Approved, the system will generate a Student Number (which will be displayed on the student).
